Dagmar Keller (1972 born in Germany) and Martin Wittwer (1969 born in Switzerland) studied at the Art Academy Düsseldorf and at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. They have collaborated together as an artist duo since 1997, creating extensive photographic cycles, film and video installations. The artist duo has presented its artworks in numerous solo and group exhibitions, at festivals and venues such as transmediale, Berlin (GER, 2002), Argos Arts Centre, Brussels (BEL, 2002), Nicolaj Contemporary Art Centre , Copenhagen (DEN, 2002), Taipei Fine Arts Museum, (TRE, 2003), Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Zürich (SUI, 2003), hmkv Hartware MedienKunstVerein, Phoenixhalle, Dortmund (GER, 2004), sonar, International Festival of Advanced Music and New Media Art, sonarmatica at MACBA, Museum of Contemporary Art, Barcelona (Esp, 2005), Kunstmuseum Thun, (SUI, 2007), BACC, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Bangkok, (THA, 2008), Optica, Centre for Contemporary Art, Montreal (CAN, 2009), and Württembergischer Kunstverein, Stuttgart (GER, 2010), Photoforum PasquArt, Biel/Bienne (SUI, 2013), Kunstmuseum Bonn (GER, 2016)
Their work has received several grants including fellowship at Academy Schloss Solitude, Stuttgart (GER, 2007), Edith-Russ-Site for Media Art, Oldenburg (GER, 2002), Award from the Federal State NRW, category “Media Arts” (GER, 2003), re:view, Competition for Video and Film, Produktion grant, Migros Museum of Contemporary Art, Zürich (SUI, 2001).

Their publications Passengers (2013) and POINT DE DÉPART (2016) have been published by Spector Books, Leipzig.
